“Love, Mural Festival, 2025” (FesToi) is a traveling festival that visits small mountainous communities in Cyprus, celebrating life and love through creativity. Taking into account the negative effects of urbanization, the festival aims to highlight and reposition these communities on Cyprus’ tourist map. Through a creative approach, it seeks to effectively address the challenges facing mountain villages.
This year, “Love, Mural Festival” is traveling to Galata (Nicosia district) and invites you all on June 29 in the afternoon at “Vrysi tou Pogiatzis” to gather and celebrate the completion of the mural with food, drinks, music, and a wonderful workshop for the “big kids” (adults), designed to foster communication, warmth, and the sharing of present moments.
“Love, Mural Festival 2025” is organized by the association “Folk and Contemporary Art Pafiou” and offers a unique opportunity for collaboration, connection, and artistic expression through creativity. So far, FesToi has traveled to Anogyra, Prastio Avdimou, and Farmakas. Here, you can find videos showcasing the festival’s journey.

- Three-day painting workshops (for the children of the community) Through painting, we will explore the meaning of love and the importance of community, shaping the final design that will be captured in the mural
- Mural creation Art becomes the symbol of our collective energy and hope, visually expressing the beauty and soul of the community.
Open Activities for the Public Sunday 29 June – The Big Celebration!
After the completion of the workshops and the mural, you are all warmly invited to come to gather and celebrate in the heart of the community! Throughout the event, food and drinks will be offered as we come together under the same sky.

- Love Workshop | 17:00 – 19:00 An inclusive, participatory experience for adults, open to everyone regardless of age, gender, etc. The goal is unity, communication, and the joy of togetherness through dialogue, music, and physical expression. The workshop is inspired by the artistic research project “Remaining in the Present Moment”.
- Children’s Workshop | 17:00 A playful and imaginative creative workshop for our young explorers.
