Who we are
Folk and Contemporary Art – Pafiou is a non-profit organization. The vision that supports this mission is to enable people to explore the joys of sharing different perspectives on creativity, beauty, and coexistence. The aim is to foster a sense of community that would empower the individual to pursue their creative talents freely while establishing meaningful connections with others. What motivates us is the conviction that creative thinking is key to social transformation, and that can only be achieved in an environment of love and companionship.
DIGI-WELL | Erasmus+ Training Course for Youth Workers
Folk and Contemporary Art Pafiou is pleased to participate in DIGI-WELL, an Erasmus+ training course taking place in Žalec, Slovenia, in October 2026. The project brings together 24 youth workers from six countries to explore the relationship between digital technology, creativity, mental wellbeing and youth participation. Our educational contribution draws on our ongoing artistic research, R.P.M.L. – Remaining in the Present Moment, Remaining in the State of Love. The purpose of this research is to understand and mobilise the person (as a unit) to create on a daily basis in their lives. Our workshops will focus on developing critical thinking and exploring the connections between artificial intelligence (AI) and analogue tools. Through this international exchange, we aim to share our research and educational practices while encouraging dialogue and experimentation.
